Igniting environmental change

“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.” - R. Buckminster Fuller

We are prime 6

Our products are crafted through the innovative process of upcycling wood waste, effectively cleaning up waste and significantly reducing emissions. Our proprietary manufacturing methods ensure emissions-free production, and all our products are USDA certified.

But that's not the extent of our commitment. As a local certified Woman-owned business, we're proud to be in the process of establishing our first US-based facility, which will not only bolster the local wood industry but also support family-owned wood mills.

Furthermore, we've forged a meaningful partnership with the USDA to champion forest health and management, ensuring that Mother Nature is a priority throughout our journey.

In our pursuit of a greener future, we've taken the initiative to plant one tree for every case sold. Through our collaboration with One Tree Planted, one of the world's largest reforestation nonprofits, we're actively contributing to environmental restoration.

Founded by Riki and Oron Franco in 2019, Prime 6 is proud to be a women-owned business, family centered and thoughtfully operated.

"We’re so proud to bring great products to people. It’s always been our dream to build a business that would align with our ideals about sustainability and the environment, nourish our passion for cooking, and make our kids proud!"

Hardwood sawdust is compressed into hexagon shaped molds and carbonized in a proprietary process.

The result is over 90% pure carbon with longer burn time, higher heat and little ash.

All our products are made from upcycled wood waste and biomass. By collecting sawdust and wood chips from the initial processing cycle, which consists of raw and untreated "green" wood, we ensure a responsible use of resources. While predominantly using Oak, we continuously explore new species to expand our product range.

We take the collected sawdust and compress it into wood logs using only the natural oils found in the wood itself. No binders, chemicals, or glues are involved in the process. In fact, our logs contain only one ingredient, which aligns with Mother Nature's approach: pure wood.

What sets our logs apart is their density, exceeding even Mother Nature's designs. We have more material per sq inch which means more material to work with, regardless of the application.

Our carbonization process is controlled, carried out in state-of-the-art computerized furnaces, guaranteeing an emissions-free operation. Instead of releasing pyrolysis gases into the atmosphere, we capture and convert them into energy, powering other furnaces—a closed cycle system that ensures an environmental process.

To complete the circle, we plant a tree for each case sold, perpetually offsetting any potential environmental impact, and ensuring a harmonious balance with our planet's well-being.
